The Price of Admission in a Relationship

Please Watch the Video below - ENJOY!

Sex columnist Dan Savage was at a speaking engagement and received this question from an audience member: "I can't stay interested in a guy for longer than two months. What is wrong with me? I find a flaw and can't get over it. For example, if a guy chews with his mouth open, I could never see him again." Here's his no-holds-barred response.

In the video he addresses the unrealistic expectations that so many people have when they go into a relationship!

The "ideal" or "perfect" person simply does not exist, everyone presents their idealised self to you in the beginning of a relationship, as time moves on this changes and more of our quirky behaviours start to slip through.

He has a really great way of saying that he and his partner "pretend" that the person they are with is still the same person they met in the beginning of the relationship.

We can never be perfect for the other person without a lot of effort and pretending along the way!

So, if you are looking for "the one", what are you doing to be "the one" for them?
