We all give and expect love in different ways.

The book, "The Five Love Languages" helps to explain why we are all so different, and how we can connect and communicate in a way that makes the other person feel special and loved in their very own way!
Sometimes couples feel more comfortable trying to bring romance into their relationship by bestowing gifts on their partner.
Giving gifts can be the classics like flowers ... candy ... perfume or cologne - these are almost always successful gifts. An even better way to do it is, by giving something different. Take a bit of time, find out if they have mentioned something that they were looking at while out shopping, or listen up for hints or clues and give them a surprise!
Make sure that you know what their love language is, some of the love languages really do not like to be surprised!
If you are in a relationship with someone like this, ask them for a list of things that you can surprise them with ... and then you decide which gift to give ... when they are least expecting it!! This can be a win-win for everyone.
